2023 is a special year for Trackmania, as we celebrate the 20-year anniversary of the brand! The very first Trackmania game was launched in France on November 21, 2003. To mark this milestone, we have planned various events, starting with a special Trackmania 20-year anniversary skin contest!
This activity is open to everyone. Design your own Trackmania car skin around the following theme: “Celebrating the Trackmania 20-year anniversary!”
To take part in the contest, you need to send your Trackmania livery file (.zip), a short description of your car skin, and fill in all the information needed through the dedicated form. Submission deadline is set to Sunday, October 22nd, 11:59 PM CE(S)T.
RULES
The car livery must be designed around the following theme: “Celebrating the Trackmania 20-year anniversary!”.
A player can only send one single car skin.
The livery must be designed on the Trackmania 2020 3D car skin, and the file sent must be usable in-game.
The design can be created with the in-game skin editor, or any other design software.
Feel free to use any Trackmania or Ubisoft Nadeo related logo. In-game skin editor logos from the previous Trackmania games (Turbo, ManiaPlanet, TrackMania Forever…) are allowed. Logos related to any other brand are strictly forbidden. A visual pack with many Trackmania games logos, stickers and keyarts is available here.
SCHEDULE
The Trackmania 20-year skin contest starts on Friday, September 1, 2023.
Submission deadline is set to Sunday, October 22nd at 11:59 PM CE(S)T.
The community vote will start on Wednesday, November 1st and will be closed on Sunday, November 12th at 11:59 PM CE(S)T.
Final results will be announced on Tuesday, November 21st.
RESULTS
The top 10 car skins will qualify for the open community vote. This selection will be made by Ubisoft Nadeo. These skins will be available in Ubisoft Nadeo’s in-game club beginning on Monday, October 30th.
The top 10 ranking will be decided thanks to the community vote (50%), but also thanks to a dedicated jury (50%). The jury will be announced in October.
PRIZES
1st: 250€ + goodies pack
2nd: 150€ + goodies pack
3rd: 100€ + goodies pack
4th to 10th: Goodies pack
To be eligible to win prize money, the player must be able to edit an invoice (thanks to self-employment or freelance status). If this is not possible, an equivalent prize will be found in agreement with the organizer and the winner.
