Trackmania Grand League Open is back for this new season! A brand-new format has been released to make the competition more accessible to everyone.
The Trackmania Grand League: Open (TMGL:O) celebrates its 2nd anniversary with a new format designed to be more accessible to everyone. Exit the 6 or 8 weeks long season and welcome 4 separate events! Top 4 players from each event will qualify for the TMGL:O final.
Anyone can register for any (or several) of the 4 Open Qualifiers. Each qualifier will start with a seeding phase under the Time Attack game mode. The 64 best players qualify for the single elimination bracket which is played in 1v1v1v1. Top 2 from each match qualify for the next round, last 2 players are eliminated from this tournament and will be able to participate to the next one. The 4 open qualifiers will be held on:
Open Qualifier 1: March, Saturday 12th – Starting 5PM CE(S)T
Open Qualifier 2: March, Saturday 19th – Starting 6PM CE(S)T
Open Qualifier 3: March, Saturday 26th – Starting 7PM CE(S)T
Open Qualifier 4: April, Saturday 2nd – Starting 8PM CE(S)T
Fostering a true “Zero to Hero” philosophy, the top TMGLO players will compete against the Trackmania Grand League: Challenger players for a chance to accede the higher division. Affi, Binkss, GranaDy, Gwen, Mudda and Otaaaq shined in the TMGLO division before being part of the Trackmania Grand League circuit.
Each participant is allowed to stream himself while playing. Also, an official stream (in English language) will be held on twitch.tv/trackmania.
